Just before we left the spaceneedle area we let the kids ride one of the kiddie amusement rides that are at the base of the space needle (you can see them in the post below on the spaceneedle). They were going to ride the carousel until they saw the other rides. It was funny watching them go back and forth on which one they wanted to ride.
I call this set of pics below with oldest son "evolution of a ride".
Before the ride started he was very excited to ride.
But then they went in the air and his look says it all.
Here Daddy is looking on and can't help but laugh. Poor son! He really wasn't sure he still wanted to be on the ride.
But by the time he has gone a round a few times he was having a blast and didn't want to get off! He is our silly boy whose favorite ride at Disneyland was Tower of Terror but the kiddie rides there terrified him!
Youngest son decided to ride the cars. He is, you know, obsessed with any kind of cars.
And the girls chose the roller coaster. They were the only ones on the ride and so had the whole thing to themselves. They thought it was great!
