More Yosemite- Pioneer Museum

On our way out of Yosemite we stopped at the Pioneer site. They had houses and other historic buildings and equipment from the early days of Yosemite. I love the history in addition to nature. It is just so fascinating- and fun to photograph.
An old wagon, they had old frieght wagons, road smoothers, and farming equipment amoung others.

Gotta see the Wells Fargo building- every place we go historic in the west seems to have one.

I know I know, an outhouse, but it looked so cool!

I found this interesting, I can't even imagine a pond with a layer or oil on it, intentionally.

Where this "village" was located was at one time a stage coach station for those traveling into Yosemite Valley. From here, located near the southern entrance to the Park, it was a full 8 hour stage coach ride to Yosemite Valley.
